Kate & Nick are based in Hong Kong and contacted me to co-ordinate and style their Watershed Winery wedding in Margaret River. They had quite a few vendors already booked they just needed someone “on the ground” in the area to liaise with vendors and also help with the styling.
The styling was kept simple to keep the emphasis on the architecture of the venue and those stunning views! Grey chevron, a dash of coral, silver lanterns and the green of the herbs in wooden boxes made for a fresh, elegant wedding.
The family were happy to help out and the Bride’s Aunty made the bouquets and also the floral arrangements on the cake, her father made the wooden boxes and ice cream cart and her mother and sister sewed the runners. One talented family!
The bride made her entrance through the winery out onto the lawn for the ceremony. Once the formalities were over the acoustic band began, canapés were served and drinks flowed whilst guests enjoyed the views over the vineyard. Guests were then ushered indoors to be seated for entrée.
There were some entertaining moments; the bride and grooms’ choreographed dance routine was AMAZING and that meringue cake smash was epic! The guests were then served Eaton Mess and numerous other sweet treats from the dessert buffet. Yum!
It was a gorgeous wedding and so much fun.
Congrats Kate & Nick!
